INSTALLATION OF CURTAINS WITH CABLE OUTSIDE

This summer at TendalsGircat we carried out a very interesting project in an ecological house in the Baix Empordà.

It is about the installation of four curtains on the outside of the house with cable guide to resist the winds. The supports are fixed directly to wood. The curtains were motorized with Somfy motors, allowing a wind sensor to be installed to prevent the consequences of these strong winds.

Curtains and not awnings were installed in order to maintain the minimalist effect of the house. The fabric color is Polyscreen 16020 with 1% light transparency. With this color it was possible to continue with the color harmony of the house as a whole.

Thanks to this fabric, from inside the house it is possible to create a very welcoming atmosphere with a feeling of openness thanks to the 1% transparency, since you can see minimally the outside space without losing shade.

From the remote control you can choose between lowering each curtain individually or all at the same time, which saves a lot of time when handling them and allows you to choose which curtains to raise or lower depending on the incidence of the Sun's rays.

In conclusion, it turned out to be a unique project where every detail was worked on to maintain the harmony of the house.
