VERANDAS

Advantages and characteristics of Veranda awnings

The Veranda Awning is a very exclusive, modern, practical and innovative solar protection awning model, which allows you to decide the amount of heat and light you want to let pass over the structure where it is installed.

Opening and closing is always done through a motorized system with travel guides.

It can be made with acrylic canvas or technical fabrics, depending on the degree of waterproofing you want to provide.

The Veranda awning is a patented system with telescopic guides or springs that allows the surface of the awning to be deployed on the roof of the greenhouse or structure with the guarantee that the canvas will always be fully taut, even on low pitched roofs.

The drive through an electric motor incorporated as standard, offers a high degree of comfort in the opening and closing maneuver.

Veranda awnings, unlike the sliding awnings that go underneath, are installed above the structures. They carry a set of guides that are fixed through some holes at the base of the structure that you want to cover in case it already exists. (They can also be installed between walls in the event that there is no structure underneath)

The system consists of a box where the winding tube is placed with the canvas or technical fabric that you want to use according to your needs. This box has the function of protecting it when it is collected.

The second important element is the aluminum displacement guides that are currently manufactured with a system of internal springs or gas pistons, which have the function of making the canvas always taut in any part of its route.

They are large awnings that reach widths of up to 5.00 mts. and exits of up to 6.00 mts. depending on the model, and can be modulated by width to achieve large surface enclosures.

Its mechanism is always motorized as this allows tension to always be given to the canvas.

The recommended degree of inclination is 15% if the fabric is waterproof (acrylic canvas or closed technical fabric)

The structure is manufactured in different sizes according to the needs of the client and the dimensions of the same.

Currently, these awning systems have evolved a lot, with water collection gutters at the bottom, motors for pre-tensioning the tarpaulin when it reaches the end of its route and thus better withstand the wind or water, if that's the case.

The aluminum is always extruded with a direct press and finished with the powder coating system, hardened at high temperatures of the Qualicoat brand with guarantee certificate QC-0706.
All fixings and pins are made of stainless steel, to guarantee maximum durability and mechanical resistance over the years.

The types of fabrics that are used in these products are the basic sunscreens that can be rolled up. Whether they are canvas or technical fabrics.

They are awnings of great resistance and durability since the entire system of mechanisms and guides are built to withstand the changes that can be derived from the weather, both sun and rain, and always within the parameters for which they were built.

They have sun, wind and humidity safety features to ensure that the awning will be opened or retracted depending on the weather or the customer's needs.

The aesthetic and linear element of the drawer and the guides allows it to be installed on any surface in a completely discreet and minimalist way, remaining fully integrated in the area or surface where it is installed.
