TECHNICAL VERTICALS

Characteristics and advantages of technical verticals

The Technical Vertical Awnings are designed to make Bioclimatic closures, aluminum pergolas, window openings and balconies where you want to have visibility to the outside through the technical fabric.

It is an awning model that can withstand winds of more than 80 km/h (depending on the size of the width and height) thanks to its integrated zipper guide system that prevents the tarpaulin from coming off.

Technical vertical awnings with ZIP system guides are products created specifically to protect from light and provide shade to windows and glass.

The awning, when equipped with built-in guides, can be completely incorporated into the window block. The chest has a front profile that is equipped with a mobile closing system, the heads are cast aluminum and lacquered in the same color as the structure. The awning can be fixed to the jamb using the headers, or be supported by the guides. The guides integrate the ZIP system.

The system allows you to mount opaque or technical fabric. Extruded aluminum and die-cast aluminum profiles are powder coated, screws are stainless steel and nylon accessories.

The drive can be manual (machine with limit switch and handle) or motorized (normal motor, RTS or IO Home-control).

Its motorized drive facilitates handling, allowing a vertical displacement of the fabric and the creation of different environments, depending on the light and thermal conditions of the moment in each space.

The ZIP system guided by zippers gives it optimal resistance against strong winds, thus increasing the safety and durability of the product.

In addition to high-performance technical fabrics, this system is made up of the highest quality extruded aluminum profiles that perfectly complement the color of the canvas.

That is why they can be obtained in any color from the RAL chart, textured, special lacquered (laminated, metallized, anodic), wood imitation lacquered, anodized and foiled, as well as specific letters for architects, always subject to the more demanding European standards to guarantee excellent behavior in all kinds of conditions.

Its technical characteristics vary depending on the size of the awning and box, which can range from 80 mm to 150 mm depending on the model.

Thanks to the zip guide system, the fabric does not come off the profiles, always offering optimal wind resistance.

In this way, there is no need to collect the awning when there are strong winds.

The zipper is welded to the fabric, which means that the fabric and terminal remain stable inside the side guides, ensuring the operability of the system in the most extreme circumstances.

In addition, the zipper system prevents light from entering through the side openings of the system, thanks to the absence of these. In this way, it also acts against the entry of insects.

The test carried out in the laboratory resulted in class 5 (≈ 76 Km/h) according to EN 13659:2004+A1:2008.

It is an awning that can reach 6.00 meters in width by 3.50 meters of drop in the 150 mm caisson model and with motorized system.

Its components and fabric make it a very aesthetic and functional awning that adapts perfectly to all types of vertical fall installations, giving maximum protection in all its functions.

Aesthetically, its drawer can be curved or straight according to the customer's taste.

This model of awnings follows all the European regulations of high quality and guarantee. The ZIP system is a very innovative product in the world of sun protection.
