The rain sensor detects raindrops and automatically signals the motor (via radio) to close or open according to the needs of the place where the awning is installed. Its installation is without cables in any point where it can receive the rain in a direct and unobstructed way.
The tarpaulins of the awnings (acrylic) are waterproof, so the function of the rain sensor can be to protect the awning in the event of rain (slight inclination, or protection and durability of the tarpaulin if this is the case), or to open the awning to protect what is under it from the water. The sensor is connected directly to the electric current and communicates with the motor of the awning via radio. It is an automatism that does not need regulation.
