Custom-made welded iron structure with stretched canvas to protect the terrace of a farmhouse in Alt Ampurdà from the sun. The iron tubes used are 80 x 80 mm with reinforcement ribs every 1200 mm wide. A custom-made PVC canvas is made with lateral reinforcement to be able to put the eyes through which the nautical rubber that we use to fix the canvas to the structure passes. The PVC canvas has an internal reinforcement mesh that gives it very strong resistance so that the canvas can be stretched without deforming and this allows it to be placed on large surfaces without problems with wind and water. The system makes it easy to assemble and disassemble if necessary. The iron structure was painted anthracite grey and the canvas was made yellow to give more light and contrast with the earth tones of the walls.
