Project for a tensioned sail to cover the terrace of the Monturiol building in the UDG Technology Park (Girona)

A tensioned sail is installed in the common and leisure area, fixed with a structure of 2 struts of 120 x 120 x 5 mm and 4 fixing points to the structure of the building with 200 x 200 mm plates.
The textile cover for sun protection is made of high-density polyethylene with anti-UV additives, knitted with 100% round monofilament thread for structural stability, tensioned with 8 mm galvanized steel perimeter cable within the double-stitched seams.
