INSTALLATION OF ALAND BOXES (MONISTROL DE MONTSERRAT)

Installation of 2 Aland awnings
Installation of two Aland model box awnings directly fixed to an iron beam. To fix the awning supports, a hole was made directly to the iron beam and then a metric 10 thread was made. It was decided to place the awnings in the center of the beams so that, once closed, they would be as hidden as possible, giving the feeling as if they were part of the structure itself. One of the awnings is 3600 mm wide and the other 5700 mm and both consist of a 3-meter output to cover most of the terrace. The arms have integrated LED strips to be able to use the awnings at night and create a "chill out" area. They also have a wireless IO wind sensor in the front profile. This sensor detects vibration when the awning moves with the wind and, depending on the degree of vibration, causes the awning to close. The awning canvas is made of Soltis 92 technical fabric that allows a minimum percentage of light to enter and also maintains the views once the awning is open. In short, this installation was made with practical thinking in mind, seeking the greatest functionality of the awnings while respecting the aesthetics of the house.
