INSTALLATION OF PLATINAS FOR AWNING CHEST (GIRONA)
Project for manufacturing plates for box awnings.
In order to place a box awning on a shaped facade, custom-made steel plates are manufactured to have the fixing points of the supports level.
Once finished in the workshop with all the necessary reinforcements to be able to support the weight of the awning, we take them to be lacquered in the same color as the aluminum of the awning. (In this case, 7016 Textured)
The placement on the wall is done with a cutting crown so as not to break the marble of the wall and thus be able to access the concrete behind and place the support rods with Chemical dowel (Hilti)
Once the plates are fixed, we place the awning and proceed to cover the space that remains up to the wall with an aluminum sheet to prevent the passage of water between the two elements.
